Silk suture is a non-absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of natural material silk which is obtained from silkworm. Black braided silk suture is coloured with FDA-approved black dye for enhanced visibility. These sutures are coated with wax/silicon, which facilitates the easy passage through the tissue. Silk sutures are braided with special technology to ensure tight braiding, better strength, and performance. Our in-house needle manufacturing provides better needles with optimum sharpness which finally delivers smooth riding on tissues during suturing.
